The Start Of A New Renaissance

The NEW RENAISSANCE FILM FESTIVAL 2016 took over the Courthouse Hotel in London’s West End, on Saturday August 20, 2016, for its inaugural celebration of independent filmmaking. The London METRO (readership 3.2 million) listed it as one of London’s best weekend film events to attend.

UK and international filmmakers, screenwriters and indie film lovers came to enjoy a wide variety of high quality indie shorts and documentaries in a great West End location.

During the day guests also took part in inspiring masterclasses from industry experts, including BAFTA award-winning director Jonas Grimas, writer and script reader Ray Grewal (BBC, Creative England and Writer’s Workshop), and executive producer and investor, Peter Dunphy (Gizmo Films).
